Using the Portion beta.
Updated October 8, 2026Portion is an early-stage calorie and macronutrient journal developed by Ryann Chandiari. Questions and feedback: contact@portion.my.id.
Review the nutrition
AI estimates, household portions, database matches, and user-entered labels can be wrong or incomplete. Review assumptions, preparation, brand, quantity, and nutrition units before saving. The public walkthrough uses illustrative sample values and is not a nutritional assessment of your food.
Portion supports general food logging. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and its targets do not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Beta availability
Access is currently free. AI requests are subject to shared daily safeguards, provider quotas, and availability. Features and future pricing may change. No future Pro plan, unlimited AI allowance, or grandfathered rate is promised.
Your account and data
Use an account you control, protect its password, and keep exported backups of important journal data. Use the service lawfully and do not attempt to access another person’s journal or bypass request safeguards. Read the privacy notice for storage and provider details.
AI providers
The default implementation uses Gemini. Claude is an optional evaluation integration that requires explicit server-owner configuration. Provider access, region, account, and applicable age requirements must be satisfied. No AI provider can guarantee the nutritional accuracy of an individual serving.
